Creating the Bundle ID

To continue setting up Cloud Connect you need to first make your Bundle ID for your application on the Adobe Developer website. If your Bundle ID’s don’t match, your application will not work. The Apple developer website has two major parts you need to setup: The iOS Provisioning Portal, and iTunes connect. The iOS Provisioning Portal is where you setup your App and also where you setup your test devices. This is the developer side of your account. iTunes connect is where you setup your in-App purchases. This is the marketing side of your developer account where you create the products (subscriptions) for in-App purchases.

4. On the left-side of the screen, choose “Identifiers.”

5. Click on the “+” sign to create a new App ID.

6. Enter a common name or description of your App ID using alphanumeric characters. The description you specify will be used throughout the Provisioning Portal to identify this App ID. You cannot use special characters such as @, &, *, ‘, “

7. App Services: Select the services you would like to enable in your App. You can edit your choices after this App ID has been registered.

8. App ID Suffix: Choose Explicit App ID. To create an explicit App ID, enter a unique string in the Bundle ID field. This string should match the Bundle ID of your App.

Enter a unique identifier for your App ID. The recommended practice is to use a reverse-domain name style string for the Bundle Identifier portion of the App ID. We recommend using a reverse-domain name style string (i.e., com.domainname.appname). It cannot contain an asterisk (*). Use all lowercase letters and do not use any non-alpha characters such as dashes.

Copy this Bundle ID you made. You will need it to continue setting up your App with Cloud Connect.

9. Chose “Continue.”

10. Now you can “Confirm your App ID.”

11. Click on “Submit.”

12. Click on “Done.”

13. To edit your App ID settings, you can click on the App ID in the Identifier list. Your Application Services will be listed.
